I am a Computer Vision Researcher. Until Oct. 2018 I worked at the autonomous flying startup Daedalean AG. As an academic, I have worked in the intersection of Computer Vision, Graphics and Machine Learning, particularly on 3D shape/scene understanding and reconstruction.
I studied Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad, India and then finished my Ph.D. at the University of Oxford in 2009 under Dr. Andrew Fitzgibbon and Prof. Andrew Zisserman. At ETH Zürich I worked on the 3DCOFORM project with Prof. Luc Van Gool until 2013. Then, I worked as an Assistant Professor in Creative Technologies at the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin and a member of the Graphics, Vision and Visualization Group (during which I taught the CS7034 (Augmented Reality) and CS7008 (Vision Systems) courses) until 2016.
